Last week, the leadership behind the 108th Thomas P. Hinman Dental Meeting made the difficult decision to cancel amid growing coronavirus concerns. To help fill the void, Carestream Dental announced plans to host a virtual trade show on Friday, March 20, which would have been the second day of the meeting.
Carestream will use social media platforms and its new eCommerce website to offer product demos and trade show deals, according to a press release. Via Facebook Live, Carestream dental will showcase its high-tech operatory at the company’s headquarters in Atlanta. Product experts will give live demos and doctors will answer questions. Videos will be live-streamed from company headquarters throughout the day and promotions that only would have been available to Hinman attendees will be offered to dental professionals across the country.
Carestream also will offer special pricing on scanners, bundles for implant workflows and buy-one-get-one-at-no-cost offers through the “Shop Online” section of its website. Dental professionals will have access to CBCT deals and 0 percent financing when working directly with their sales rep. These deals will be available through March 23.
