 MMG Fusion Introduces Virtual Office Assistant with Unified Communications and Task Manager Tools

MMG Fusion, an all-in-one software suite for practice management and marketing, recently released new Unified Communications and Task Manager tools.

The products are being released within the MMG Manage suite of services, with two of the four new products acting as a Virtual Office Assistant for practices, according to a press release.

Unified Communications and the optional artificial intelligence (AI) upgrade Task Manager were designed and tested by dentists and dental staff within MMG Fusion’s affiliated San Francisco group practice. Unified Communications replaces an office’s hardware phone system with an advanced VOIP system that makes it possible for staff to better connect and collaborate with patients outside the practice and with each other inside the practice.

Unified Communications uses AI to capture patient data directly from the web chat feature and then load it into the patient record. From there, the patient record is converted into a Patient Pop that’s automatically presented when someone is communicating with that patient. This helps enhance practice efficiencies while improving the patient experience.

The Task Manager tool uses AI to prioritize, streamline and disseminate daily office tasks via the Unified Communications system. The Task Manager acts as a virtual office assistant, creating tasks such as patient follow up or insurance verification and then assigning each task to the relevant team member. The Task Manager monitors tasks until they are complete, helping to ensure no tasks go unfinished.   

The intelligent Unified Communications tool replaces the office phone, text, and chat systems, giving team members a central location to collaborate while also ensuring all necessary tasks are assigned, tracked and completed.
