KaVo Kerr recently added the ORTHOPANTOMOGRAPH OP 3D, or the KaVo OP 3D, to its imaging product line.
The system features a dedicated x-ray source for cephalometric imaging with advanced sensor technology, according to a press release, enabling it to offer high capacity and optimum imaging parameters with a minimal patient dose.
It also provides fast scan times and features an intuitive graphical user interface with automated sensor movements that allow for smooth workflows. The patented design puts the system at the correct height for a CEPH image if a panoramic image has been taken first. This minimizes the need for adjustments, leading to an easier, faster workflow.
