Tokuyama Dental recently released Estelite Universal Flow, a supra-nano filled flowable composite that’s available in high, medium and super low viscosities.
The light cured composite features spherical filler technology, giving it a higher filler content than traditional flowables, according to the company website. It also offers the benefits less viscous composites are known for without compromising strength.
The composite is easy to extrude and has a non-sticky consistency with minimal stringiness. One shade blends with several tooth shades, and the composite also offers optimal gloss retention. There’s minimal color change after polymerization.
The durable material features high compressive and flexural strength and is formulated for long-term wear resistance. Low shrinkage stress results in lasting comfort for patients.
