Evident is launching an IOS service that features Carestream Dental’s CS 3600 intraoral scanner, an unlocked and unrestricted system that enables users to choose where they send their files.
The reliable IOS system’s plug-in and go software is calibrated for the best dentist-lab-patient restorative results, according to a blog post on the company’s website. The evidentHub gives users their own digital file portal and storage so they can control patient files. All updates and software are included in the monthly subscription fee as is training and support. Users also have the ability to upgrade as technology advances and receive replacement coverage if the system is broken.
The CS 3600 will play a significant role in the open scanning system, according to a press release. Doctors capture a digital impression with the CS 3600 and upload the files to evidentHUB. The case is then handled by Evident’s specialists and its design center or the lab of the doctor’s choice and returned to the doctor.
Files can be exported directly from the scan software and the scan files are universally accepted.
Evident is now taking pre-orders for the Evident IOS Service.
