Bisco recently introduced ZirClean, a nonabrasive gel designed to clean the bonding surfaces of zirconia and other prosthetic restorations after intraoral try-in.
The gel is said to help achieve reliable adhesive cementation results by removing the phosphate contamination of zirconia, as well as ceramic and metal restoration surfaces, that occur during try-in, according to the company. Contaminants such as saliva can be removed to help achieve better bond strength after try-in.
The gel is easy to clean up and comes in a delivery system that is easy to use.
