Dentrix G7, the latest update to Henry Schein One's dental practice management platform, features new integrations with leading digital imaging solutions designed to improve clinical and financial workflows.
The G7 release includes Dentrix Smart Image which integrates the patient chart with a range of 2D, 3D and CAD/CAM image types from third-party imaging companies in order to automate regular imaging and practice management activities and allow clinicians to access images right from the patient chart, according to a press release. This integration can make diagnosis, patient education and treatment acceptance more efficient. Images can be linked to relevant CDT codes which are automatically posted to the ledger and the patient's record.
Imaging products from Dentsply Sirona, Planmeca, DEXIS, ACTEON, Carestream Dental, LED Dental, SOTA Imaging, PreXion, HDX Will, Vatech America, and XDR are already set up as trusted connections in the new Dentrix Smart Image platform, and other imaging companies are encouraged to work with Henry Schein One and the Dentrix Developer Program to create Dentrix Connected versions of their applications.
Additional enhancements in Dentrix G7 include tools for automating recurring payments, securely saving credit card information in Dentrix Pay Payment Agreement Manager, an expanded Patient Health History module, and sending custom text messages to groups of patients without leaving the Dentrix software.
