The CS 8100SC 3D extraoral imaging system from Carestream Dental was awarded a bronze 2018 Edison Award in the Dental/Medical Digital Imaging category.
The award, inspired by Thomas Edison’s persistence and inventiveness, recognizes innovation, creativity and ingenuity in the global economy, according to a press release. To earn the award, the CS 8100SC 3D was judged on its concept and development, value and impact on the industry.
Award winners were announced on April 11 at the Edison Awards Annual Gala, held in New York City. Edison Award nominees are judged by more than 3,000 senior business executives and academics from across the nation.
