Convergent Dental recently released Solea Software (SW) 3.2 for its Solea CO2 all-tissue dental laser system.
The updated software offers an increase in cutting speed, smoother surface finishes, and the laser’s analgesic effect, according to a press release. Solea SW 3.2 further simplifies the user interface with a single mode that cuts any tissue in the oral cavity, with no settings required.
Upgraded features include new cutting algorithms for an improved experience for both the clinician and the patient and a simplified graphical user interface (GUI). The Solea laser can be used in single mode for hard or soft tissue, and simplified push buttons make it easy to start and shutdown the laser. Low power mode gives users more control at the low end of the power range for more sensitive applications.
The software is delivered via Wi-Fi and is free to all existing Solea users with an active service contract.
