Dentsply Sirona recently created a Lab Strategic Business Unit (SBU), combining the Laboratory CAD/CAM business with the Prosthetics material business.
The SBU began operation on February 1, according to a press release. By combining all lab elements, Dentsply Sirona has created three strategic platforms: Equipment, Fixed and Removable Materials, each continuing to remain in their respective locations.
Focusing on integrated solutions, the company will connect labs with digitally equipped dentists through inLab technology.
The SBU enables technicians to handle the entire laboratory workflow with Dentsply Sirona products and solutions. The one-stop shop will lead to enhanced collaboration as well as faster and better dental care.
