 VITAVISION Chicago 2018 Set for February 23

VITA North America’s VITAVISION Chicago 2018 color and collaboration event will be held February 23 at the Gleacher Center, Room #100.

Dentists, lab technicians and staff will have the opportunity to learn how to leverage color and collaboration for more esthetic results, according to a press release.

Dental and lab technician teams will deliver each course. Presenters include Stephanie K. Zeller, DDS, MS and Bobby Williams, CDT, on clinical partnerships and the fusion of handcrafted artistry with technology; Sivan Finkel, DMD and Peter Pizzi, CDT, MDT, FNGS, on integrating restorations with nature and the face; Julian Conejo, DDS, MSc and Sean Han, CDT, on collaborating in today’s digital dentistry era; and Wesam Salha, DDS, MSD, and Victor Castro, CDT, on creating lifelike restorations that replace dentition and soft tissue.

Attendees will receive a free VITA LINEARGUIDE 3-D MASTER. The event will be from 1:30 to 6 p.m. with the Color and Cocktails Party to follow from 6 to 10 p.m. Registration for both events is now open. 

VITA will also host a hands-on exploration series in its Interactive Discovery Center on February 24 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Chicago, Columbus Hall EF, Gold Level, East Tower. Dental and lab professionals will be able to choose from up to six separate workflows, ranging from digital design to material selection, porcelain build-up techniques and individualization.

Presenters include Peter Pizzi, CDT, MDT, on shade measurement, reproduction and control; Marc Wagenseil, CDT, DD, covering traditional to digital dentures; Victor Castro, CDT, presenting on zirconia, pink and white for uncompromising esthetics; Bobby Williams, CDT, on materials, milling and microlayering; Mike McIntee, CDT, on materials, milling and characterization; and Jim McGuire, CDT, on advancements in implant restorations.
