Cavitron ultrasonic scaling technology is now fully integrated into Dentsply Sirona’s Intego Treatment Centers.
The integrated preventative care concept provides practices with what they need for professional dental hygiene, dental esthetics and dental care, according to a press release. The Cavitron built-in ultrasonic scaler will be available in the Intego and Intego pro Ambidextrous models, which are both sold in the U.S.
The Intego line features two different models: Intego TS and Intego CS. Intego TS is a traditional over the patient delivery system while Intego CS is a continental delivery system.
Both models can be configured with special packages and equipment options. The treatment centers are ergonomically and functionally adapted for preventive care treatments with features such as double articulating headrests, external device connection, a multifunctional syringe, maintenance-free electric motors, LED operating lights and the new Cavitron integration, which will be available this summer.
The Intego pro Ambidextrous model features an integrated infection prevention system and automated cleaning functions. Ergomotion provides synchronized movement of the patient’s spine with no readjustment of the headrest. The Carl or Hugo stools are available as ergonomic add-ons.
