CDT 2016: Dental Procedure Codes is now available from the American Dental Association in a variety of formats.
The only HIPAA-recognized procedure codes for dentistry, the Code on Dental Procedures and Nomenclature is a part of CDT 2016 which includes 19 new codes, 12 revised codes and 8 deleted codes, according to a press release. The codes are available in a variety of formats including the CDT 2016 Companion: Help Guide and Training Manual, a smartphone app, an e-book and other formats and product bundles.

The Code on Dental Procedures and Nomenclature contained in CDT 2016 is the only HIPAA-recognized code set for dentistry, and CDT 2016 highlights 19 new, 12 revised and eight deleted codes.
