Designed to encourage proper posture and ergonomic positioning throughout the day, A-dec 500 stools offer a range of patent-pending features while a new lever-style foot control offers greater precision handpiece operations.
The new stools are designed to allow good blood flow to the legs while providing lumbar support, and a dynamic seat on a suspension frame that conforms to the clinician’s movements, according to a press release. The seats offer four individual performance zones for comfort, and support and control paddles are micro-adjustable for complete comfort.
The lever-style foot control is designed to provide optimal control of both electric and air-driven handpieces. The lever allows seamless switching between wet and dry cutting and allows the clinician to have full control of the motor while maintaining an ergonomic position. The lever maintains the handpiece speed once it is set allowing the clinician to relax his or her foot while continuing to use the handpiece.
