A new educational tool from Dental Recycling North America (DRNA) titled “Public Health, The Environment and Dentistry: From Policy to Clinical Practice” was created with sponsorship from Kerr Corporation.
The forthcoming book was written by DRNA VP for Clinical and Scientific Affairs Dr. Al Frost to provide dental practices with a guide to the new EPA rule on amalgam recycling, according to a press release. The new EPA rule is scheduled to be issued in its final form in June 2016, and practices will have just 90 days after it is filed to submit the required information to the proper enforcement authorities. The book, which will offer 8 CE credit hours in October, will walk practices through the compliance process.
More information on the book can be found at www.DRNA.com/ed.html.
