Designed to provide an efficient digital orthodontic workflow, the Unitek Treatment Management Portal (TMP) from 3M Unitek is now fully integrated with 3Shape Communicate software and the TRIOS intraoral scanner.
This new integration allows orthodontic practices with the TRIOS to create Incognito Appliances and Unitek Digital Models without investing in a new digital impression solution, according to a press release. The simplified workflow allows orthodontists to log into their 3Shape Communicate account from the Unitek TMP and upload TRIOS scans for use with TMP orders. The two companies only integrated their systems after completing a qualification process that ensured accuracy and ease of use.
