Curve Dental Selects DrFirst to Provide Integrated Electronic Prescription Capabilities
Integration provides doctors with ability to securely send prescriptions to any pharmacy while complying with all state laws
Rockville, Md. & Orem, Utah — Curve Dental, the leading developer of cloud-based dental software, has selected DrFirst, the leading provider of e-medication management technology, to provide integrated electronic prescribing capabilities for both legend drugs and controlled substances to Curve Dental customers.

By integrating DrFirst’s eRx and EPCS technologies, available to Curve Dental customers at an additional fee, Curve Dental is supporting dental professionals who recognize that prescription drug abuse is an epidemic. For New York customers, the integration will help them comply with New York’s Internet System for Tracking Over-Prescribing Law (I-STOP), which requires providers to electronically prescribe all legend drugs and controlled substances beginning on March 27, 2015.
