Digital impressions captured by Carestream Dental’s CS 3500 Intraoral Scanner have been approved for use with ClearCorrect clear aligner therapy cases.
The open architecture digital impression system from Carestream is designed to connect a dental practice to a range of treatment options, and the orthodontic connection is the latest of these connections, according to a press release. Using digital impressions for orthodontic cases improves both the patient experience and the speed at which orthodontic appliances can be created.
