DENTAL TECHNOLOGIES, INC. DONATION TO AMERICA’S TOOTHFAIRY HELPS SAVE YOUNG SMILES
Charlotte, N.C. – Dental Technologies, Inc. donated $26,000 in toothpaste to National Children’s Oral Health Foundation: America’s ToothFairy to help children in need. Two non-profit, community programs in the America’s ToothFairy Affiliate Network, Indiana University School of Dentistry Department of Pediatric Dentistry and Southern Illinois University, received the generous donation of over 10,000 tubes of Sunrise Natural Toothpaste to distribute among the at-risk children and families they serve. The America’s ToothFairy Affiliate Network is comprised of non-profit clinical programs in communities throughout the U.S. and Canada providing oral health services for children of vulnerable populations.
“Dental Technologies, Inc. is committed to giving back and to improving smiles around the world,” remarked Steve Erickson, owner of Dental Technologies, Inc. “We are proud to help the America’s ToothFairy Affiliate Network provide at-risk children with the healthy smiles they need and deserve.”
“This generous donation from Dental Technologies will help give children in need the preventive tools necessary to maintain a healthy smile,” said Fern Ingber, NCOHF President and CEO. “We are grateful for their support and commitment to help prevent children’s suffering from tooth decay, the #1 chronic childhood disease.”
National Children’s Oral Health Foundation, known as America’s ToothFairy, was formed in 2006 in an aggressive response to eliminate pediatric dental disease by providing community programs with the comprehensive resources to deliver vital educational, preventive, and treatment services to children of the most vulnerable populations. Supporting the delivery of oral health education and care beginning at the prenatal level, America’s ToothFairy engages caring dental professionals and the general public in programs designed to promote children’s oral health. Through the generosity of dedicated supporters like Dental Technologies, Inc., America’s ToothFairy has reached millions of children through its national non-profit clinical network and volunteer professional and student community service programs.
