With new tools designed to give clinicians even more precision with final tooth placement, the upcoming ClinCheck Pro Invisalign treatment software from Align Technology features interactive 3D controls for adjusting individual teeth.
The updated software allows clinicians to move individual teeth on the digital model with visualization of the impact on the entire dentition in real time, according to a press release. The new controls include Tooth Position Modifications for extrusion and rotation; Attachments and Precision Cuts that can be dragged and dropped onto the 3D model; Arch Form controls for posterior expansion or contraction; and IPR and Space Management to control the contacts.
The ClinCheck Pro software will be available to Invisalign-trained providers in the U.S. and Canada on Feb. 24, 2014 with and international release planned for the third quarter of 2014.
