 Align Technology Expands Research Award Funding for 2014

For the fifth year in a row Align Technology will expand the Align Research Award Program which provides grants for academic research into clear aligner therapy and intraoral scanner technology.

The 2014 award program will include a total of up to $325,000 in funding available to be distributed as one-year $25,000 grants, according to a press release. Every award recipient will be able to use an iTero scanner during the research with scanners either being loaned to the academic institution or available for purchase with $5,000 in credit from Align.

Research proposals and completed applications must be received March 1, 2014, and award recipients will be notified by May 16, 2014.
