Cosmedent Donation to NCOHF: America’s ToothFairy Helps At-Risk Children
Charlotte, N.C. - Cosmedent has generously donated over $44,000 in restorative materials and cements to National Children’s Oral Health Foundation: America’s ToothFairy® (NCOHF). The contribution of restorative materials and cements benefitted the America’s ToothFairy Affiliate Network of community-based healthcare facilities and outreach programs providing educational, preventive and restorative services for at-risk children.
“Cosmedent proudly supports the noble efforts of the America’s ToothFairy Affiliate Network to rescue vulnerable children suffering the pain and humiliation associated with pediatric dental disease,” said Michael O’Malley, President of Cosmedent. “As a longtime supporter of NCOHF: America’s ToothFairy, we share their commitment to ensure that these children have the healthy smiles they deserve.”
“We are so appreciative of Cosmedent’s steadfast support of our mission to eliminate children’s preventable suffering from dental disease,” stated Fern Ingber, NCOHF President and CEO. “This generous product donation from Cosmedent will enable the America’s ToothFairy Affiliate Network to reach more children in need with critical oral health services.”
National Children’s Oral Health Foundation, known as America’s ToothFairy, was formed in 2006 in an aggressive response to eliminate pediatric dental disease by providing community programs with the comprehensive resources to deliver vital educational, preventive, and treatment services to children of the most vulnerable populations. Supporting the delivery of oral health education and care beginning at the prenatal level, America’s ToothFairy engages caring dental professionals and the general public in programs designed to promote children’s oral health. Through the generosity of dedicated supporters like Cosmedent, America’s ToothFairy has reached millions of children through its national non-profit clinical network and volunteer professional and student community service programs.
