 American Dental Association Foundation Awards Grants to Help Combat Childhood Tooth Decay

The American Dental Association Foundation recently awarded more than $114,000 in grant funding to support the work of communication organizations dedicated to fighting childhood tooth decay.

The 2013 Samuel D. Harris Fund for Children’s Dental Health grants went to support 24 nonprofit organizations from around the country that work to improve children’s dental health through education, according to a press release. The Samuel D. Harris Fun for Children’s Dental Health was created in 199 and provides grants of up to $5,000 through a competitive process.
