OSAP Creates Toolkits Providing Infection Control Best Practices for Emerging Diseases

In an effort to help prevent the spread of new infectious diseases, the Organization for Safety, Asepsis and Prevention (OSAP) created a series of free, web-based toolkits that provide information and strategies for infection control related to emerging infectious disease threats.

The toolkits, which are available in the Knowledge Center of www.OSAP.org, cover diseases including Avian Influenza A (H7N9), Novel Coronavirus (MERS-CoV) and Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), according to a press release. The toolkits can help dental health professionals be prepared with the proper infection control protocols to combat the spread of these diseases.
