The TS 150 in-office milling solution from IOS Technologies is an open-architecture mill designed for production of crowns from glass ceramic, resin nano ceramic and PMMA materials.
Featuring an air-driven 150,000 RPM spindle, the mill works with an orbital precision milling strategy to achieve marginal integrity and finish a crown in less than 20 minutes, according to information on the IOS website.
The mill is currently capable of milling Glidewell Dental’s Obsidian lithium silicate and BruxZir solid zirconia. Compatibility with Lava Ultimate from 3M ESPE is coming soon.
