SmileMakers Contributes to NCOHF: America’s ToothFairy Programs for Underserved Children
Charlotte, N.C. – In honor of National Children’s Dental Health Month, SmileMakers® is committed to donating 75,000 toothbrushes to National Children’s Oral Health Foundation: America’s ToothFairy® (NCOHF). For every unit of Youth Happy Toothbrushes purchased at http://www.smileMakers.com/americas-tooth-fairy.html using the item number: ATFDONATE, SmileMakers will donate one unit to NCOHF: America’s ToothFairy.
SmileMakers also donated nearly $30,000 of stickers to the NCOHF: America’s ToothFairy Affiliate Network to encourage positive oral health behaviors. Fifty-eight (58) America’s ToothFairy Affiliate oral health programs received these stickers to share with the children and families they serve. The America’s ToothFairy Affiliate Network consists of community-based nonprofit programs dedicated to providing the best educational, preventive and restorative services for underserved children in need of care.

National Children’s Oral Health Foundation, known as America’s ToothFairy, was formed in 2006 in an aggressive response to eliminate pediatric dental disease by providing community programs with the comprehensive resources to deliver vital educational, preventive, and treatment services to children of the most vulnerable populations. Supporting the delivery of oral health education and care beginning at the prenatal level, NCOHF: America’s ToothFairy engages caring dental professionals and the general public in programs designed to promote children’s oral health. Through the generosity of dedicated supporters like SmileMakers, NCOHF: America’s ToothFairy has reached millions of children through its national non-profit clinical network and volunteer professional and student community service programs.
