 Henry Schein and Quintessence Publishing Announce Partnership with Goal of Expanding Oral Health Education

In a deal aimed at spreading oral health information and broadening access to the latest clinical information, Henry Schein and Quintessence Publishing announced a new partnership at a press conference today during the 2012 Greater New York Dental Meeting.

Henry Schein Chairman and CEO Stanley Bergman and Henry Schein Dental CEO James Breslawski announced the deal, stating it will expand educational opportunities as well as the scope of delivery for oral health information.

“Delivery of valuable information to professionals is attractive to Henry Schein with the help of Quintessence Publishing,” Breslawski said.

Along with the publishing partnership, it also was announced that Henry Schein and Quintessence Publishing will co-host a symposium on oral health and systemic health in San Diego in February 2014.

According to a press release about the deal, Henry Schein’s dealer network will market Quintessence books, journals and multimedia publications. The one-year partnership is designed to automatically renew for successive one-year terms, according to the release.
