DUX Dental made a donation of $7,500 to non-profit breast cancer organization Mammograms In Action to cap off the company’s 4th annual Bib-Eze for Boob-Eze fundraising campaign. The goal for this year’s campaign had been $2,500, but the campaign received enough support to triple that goal, according to a press release.
During the campaign, dental practices were encouraged to send in used bib chains and holders in exchange for free boxes of DUX’s Bib-Eze disposable bib holders and a $5 donation to Mammograms in Action. More than 1,500 bib chains were sent in during the 6-month campaign.
The money will go toward Mammograms In Action’s efforts to provide low-income and uninsured women and men with access to breast cancer screenings and diagnostic tests. The donation from DUX will fund more than 90 mammograms or 25 full diagnostic screenings, according to the release.

Dux Dental Bib-Eze For Boob-Eze Campaign Raises $7,500 For Mammograms In Action®; Exceeds Program Goal
Oxnard, Calif. – Today DUX Dental celebrated the success of its fourth-annual “Bib-Eze for Boob-Eze” campaign with a donation of $7,500 to Mammograms In Action®, a non-profit breast cancer organization whose mission it is to provide funding for low-income and uninsured women and men who need screening and/or diagnostic procedures for the prevention of breast cancer. Due to the overwhelming participation from the dental community, DUX Dental exceeded its fundraising goal for the Bib-Eze for Boob-Eze campaign by more than $2,500.
“We were overwhelmed by the support and participation in this year’s Bib-Eze for Boob-Eze campaign and are so proud to represent the dental community as we donate to Mammograms in Action,” said Paul Porteous, CEO and President of DUX Dental. “Along with the 1,500 old bib holders came notes of encouragement and admiration for dental professional who are fighting breast cancer or in remission from it. It’s clear that many people found meaning in this program and we look forward to our next campaign in 2013.”

During the Bib-Eze for Boob-Eze campaign, dental offices were invited to send their used bib chains and holders to DUX Dental in exchange for free boxes of Bib-Eze disposable bib holders and a donation of five dollars to Mammograms In Action. More than 1,500 bib holders were received during the six-month campaign with as many free boxes of Bib-Eze disposable bib holders sent out to dental offices.
