With a gala event and press conference at SFMOMA Friday night, DEXIS and Henry Schein announced the launch of the new DEXIS Imaging Suite, an updated software platform for managing, editing and presenting a practice’s digital images, along with teasing the upcoming DEXIS go iPad app.
The new software features modules including DEXcosmetic for showing patient’s digital proposals of possible restorations, DEXIS i-CAT Link for integrating 3D images along with DEXimplant, DEXimage and DEXsync.
With a nod to Apple’s iconic “one more thing” at the end of a product launch press event, DEXIS concluded their presentation with the announcement and a demonstration of DEXIS go, a free iPad app launching in January. The app allows DEXIS Imaging Suite users to show patient images on the iPad or on larger screens via Apple’s AirPlay technology. Images can be zoomed, filtered and viewed against either a black or white background from within the app.
