VITA CELEBRATES 50TH ANNIVERSARY OF VMK METAL CERAMICS
LIMITED EDITION ANNIVERSARY KITS OFFERED
(Brea, CA) - With the development of the first ever metal ceramic in 1962, VITA created a completely new market. For the first time, dental technicians were able to build long-term aesthetic, natural-looking restorations. With the innovation, VITA forever cemented their reputation as a leader in the industry and a manufacturer of cutting-edge dental technology. VITA has continued to enhance their products, leading the way in the field of tooth-colored veneering materials as well as in the dental technology industry worldwide.
VITA’s dynamic process continued with the introduction of porcelain products that became known as the industry standard, offering vitality, consistent quality, shade fidelity and accuracy. VITA VMK was one of VITA’s inaugural products and offers the lab technician, dentist and patient exceptional physical properties, handling characteristics and, due to its fine structure, clinical wear characteristics that mimic natural tooth enamel. The ever-growing demands on the functionality and aesthetics of metal ceramic restorations posed the challenge of developing materials that enabled the dental technician to achieve a lifelike result with relatively little effort. VMK “VITA Metal Keramik” from VITA met that challenge.
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of VMK, VITA will is offering limited edition porcelain kits for VM9, VM13 and VMK Master veneering material. The special edition kits feature commemorative packaging and are available in small and large sizes. The small kit contains six bottles, which includes one free bottle.
