Often fabricated from stainless steel or durable plastics, cassettes should securely store instruments in an organized fashion in order to keep sets of instruments or handpieces ready for use. Most cassettes feature slits or patterned holes which make them ideal for use in a sterilizer, as well as make it easy to identify the instruments inside.
