NuSmile Pediatric Crowns

NuSmile Primary Crowns

Available in anterior and posterior versions, NuSmile primary crowns are anatomically correct, stainless-steel crowns with natural-looking tooth-colored facing. They are designed to provide a durable, color-stable, full-coverage restoration for protection of remaining tooth structure. NuSmile Crowns are an alternative to the time-consuming open-face stainless-steel crown and to the technique-sensitive less durable composite strip crown.

Several styles are offered...

  • The anterior crowns are fabricated with both point angles slightly square so that the distal point angle may be slightly rounded in the operatory to make a right or left side crown. Right or left crowns are available at no additional charge, if preferred.
  • Regular length crowns are the same length as a standard stainless steel crown. Short length crowns are 1mm shorter in length and may be best used for the very young pediatric dental patient.
  • Extra Light Crowns are NuSmile's original pedo shade. Light Crowns are slightly more yellow than the original pedo shade and may provide a better shade match on some single tooth applications.
