Endodontic barbed broaches are hand instruments designed to remove pulp from canal chambers. Usually featuring twisted wires with barbs, these instruments can be inserted into the tooth, gently twisted to catch pulp material on the barbs, and then removed from the canal. Barbed broaches are often available in sterilized packaging. Be sure the barbed broaches you choose provide the working length you will need.
