Acrylic injection systems can produce complete and partial dentures, relines, orthodontic appliances and occlusal splints. Acrylic injection systems inject acrylic materials into a flask or model under pressure to manufacture various dental appliances. Some acrylic injection systems may specialize in one type of production, for example, removable partial dentures, while others may fabricate a variety of dental appliances. Different acrylic materials may be used in different systems. A benefit to using acrylic injection systems is the virtual elimination for change in vertical dimension of occlusion, the acrylic resin fills all voids and eliminates the need for trial packing as well. This type of molding technique can save time and insure accuracy.
