Investment Materials

Dental investment materials are used to encase the wax designed for the lost wax casting technique. These materials are usually available as a powder that is mixed with water and then used to encase the wax design. These materials solidify and can withstand the heat of the casting furnace to hold the precise shape left behind when the wax is burned out. Different gypsums are designed for use with different dental alloys or other materials, so be sure to select the proper gypsum for the case at hand.

DescriptionA vastly improved casting investment for making chrome partial denture frameworks. For casting any chrome partial alloy. Refractory Cast is hard, The principal ingredient, CRISTOBALITE, gives high thermal expansion, even at comparatively low temperatures. It is possible to use the same creamy A special investment for non-precious and semi-precious alloys. HI-TEMP contains no carbon. Non-precious metal alloys require an investment specially NOVOCAST is an advanced inlay investment that provides increased accuracy for casting conventional gold alloys at a mold temperature of 650 degrees C One of the most useful and efficient laboratory materials available today, V.H.T. is an extremely fine-grained phosphate investment with an ample
