Dental composite warmers prepare high-filled dental composites for placement by increasing their temperature prior to application. These warmers can be designed with a range of configurations to warm composites in syringes, compules, or loaded into dispensers. Some composite warmers also warm composite instruments. Research shows the benefits of placing warmed composites including faster curing times, reduced shrinkage stress and better adherence to preparation margins.
