Fred Joyal

Fred Joyal is Vice-Chairman and co-founder of 1-800-DENTIST. He has written, produced and appeared in more than 100 of the company's television and radio commercials, which air more than 5,000 times each month on major networks nationwide.

Fred's

passion for accessible dental care earned him a seat on the board of directors for The Childrens Dental Center, a non-profit oral healthcare and education center in Inglewood, CA. He is also a board member of the National Childrens Oral Health Foundation, a nationwide network of charity-based dental practices and educational facilities. In 2005, Fred was awarded the Conrad Hilton Distinguished Entrepreneur Award by Loyola Marymount University, and in 2006, he was bestowed with an honorary Doctorate of Arts from his alma mater, the University of Rhode Island.
