Steven A. Guttenberg, DDS, MD
Dr. Steven A. Guttenberg is the director of the Washington Institute for Mouth, Face, and Jaw Surgery, in Washington DC. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery,
and Fellow of both the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, currently serving as the College’s President. Dr. Guttenberg is also a Member or Fellow of other national and international dental, facial cosmetic surgery, and dental implant organizations. A recipient of the annual Continuing Dental Education Award from the District of Columbia Dental Society, he also received the Sterling V. Mead Award for "Outstanding achievement in dentistry and for a life which has reflected great credit upon his profession". Devoted to the advancement of the profession of oral and maxillofacial surgery and dentistry, he is a well respected and internationally recognized author and lecturer speaking on such topics as lasers, facial cosmetic surgery, and implant surgery. Dr. Guttenberg is a featured speaker at the 3rd International Congress on 3-D Dental Imaging, in June 2009 held in Chicago.
