
Bill Dorfman, DDS, FAACD
Bill is a practicing dentist and is also renowned in his field as an energy-brimming inventor and brilliant entrepreneur who has brought award-winning innovations to aesthetic dentistry. He has been consulted extensively for numerous television
and magazine interviews, including most recently ABC's hit new series, "Extreme Makeover," NBC's "The Today Show," "Entertainment Tonight," "EXTRA," "The Rosie O'Donnell Show," and "E! Entertainment Television." In addition, he has appeared on numerous occasions on NBC4's "Channel 4 News" in Los Angeles.
Dr. Dorfman graduated from UCLA where he was honored with the prestigious "UCLA Outstanding Senior Award" in 1980. He then received his dental degree in 1983 from the University of the Pacific in San Francisco where he was one of the youngest graduates to ever receive his doctorate degree. Upon graduation, he completed a two-year residency at a dental hospital in Lausanne, Switzerland. In 1985, Dr. Dorfman returned to the United States and established his private practice in aesthetic and general dentistry.
In 1989, Dr. Dorfman formed Discus Dental, Inc.
Dr. Dorfman is a member of the American Dental Association and the Century City Medical Staff. He is a Fellow in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and past editor of the Journal of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
