Cathy Draper, RDH, MS

Cathy Draper received her Master's Degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Michigan in 1978 and has practiced dental hygiene in Germany as well as in California. She is a past president of the
California Dental Hygienists' Association and was the 2001 leader of the People to People Delegation of Dental Hygienists to China. Cathy has worked in a general, cosmetic and implant dental practice in Mountain View, California for the past 20 years. She is a member of the adjunct faculty at Foothill College in Los Altos Hills and presents continuing education programs on dental implants and the use of technology in dental hygiene practice. She is also the author of continuing education articles for dental hygiene publications on implants in addition to other topics of interest to dental hygienists. She is a member of ADIA, the Association of Dental Implant Auxiliaries, and completed the dental hygiene certification program in 2005. In addition to being active in the leadership of the California Dental Hygienists' Association, Cathy has been a volunteer library reference associate at the Stanford Health Library for the last 14 years, assisting patients and their families with researching health information.
