Hy Smith has been in the dental practice brokerage/management consulting business for over 30 years. Mr. Smith is the President and managing partner of Professional Transitions, Inc. with Dr. Paul Rang in Orlando and Dr. Stuart Auerbach
in the Miami area. Mr. Smith is the Director of Transition Strategies for the Pride Institute, past President of American Dental Sales, an original member of The Practice Valuation Study Group and a member of the Institute of Business Appraisers. Mr. Smith teaches The Appraisals, Partnerships and Associates course for the Pride Institute and the transitions course at the University of the Pacific, Indiana University and Marquette University dental schools and has presented seminars at the University of Florida and Nova University.
