K3XF is a rotary file made from R-phase wire( rhombohedric transformation). The file is ground similar to the conventional K3 files. This file has a modified triple U shaped cross section with only one radial land touching the canal wall at once. The other 2 radial lands has only a point contact enabling canal centering along with less canal contact and binding. The file has to be used in pecking motion; (motion of 2mm pecks) enables easy progress to the apical portion. Auguring of debris is beautiful.The product gives 4% and 6% files which provide versatility to treat and shape canals. An array of tip sizes enables effective cleaning of the root canal system.
