Dr. Joshua Austin
Dr. Joshua Austin is a native San Antonian. After attending Health Careers High School and the University of Texas as an undergrad student, Dr. Austin graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio Dental
School where he was voted president of his graduating class and was awarded the Texas Dental Association Outstanding Senior Dental Student award. He is a member of the Seattle Study Club, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Texas Dental Association, American Dental Association, and American Dental Education Association.
Dr. Austin serves as a faculty member in the Department of Restorative Dentistry at UTHSCSA Dental School, as well as on the board of directors for the San Antonio District Dental Society, the San Antonio chapter of the Academy of General Dentistry, the UTHSCSA Dental School Alumni Association, and as a member of The New Dentist Advisory Board. In addition, he is the chairman of the San Antonio District Dental Society Committee for the New Dentist and the Texas Dental Association Committee for the New Dentist. In 2009, the Texas Dental Association honored Dr. Austin by naming him Young Dentist of the Year.
