At the 2015 International Dental Show, Ivoclar Vivadent debuted a pair of new material options in Tetric EvoFlow Bulk Fill flowable composite and Monobond Etch & Prime ceramic primer.
Designed as a compliment to Tetric EvoCeram Bulk Fill, Tetric EvoFlow Bulk Fill is a flowable base for Class I and Class II restorations that can be cured in 4 mm increments, according to a press release. The material adheres to cavity walls, is self-leveling, cures quickly, and offers low shrinkage. Formulated with Ivocerin light initiator and Aessencio technology, Tetric EvoFlow Bulk Fill provides natural looking translucency and esthetics, and is available in three universal shades.
Monobond Etch & Prime is a single-component, self-etching glass ceramic primer that is designed to make pretreatment of dental restorations more efficient by allowing etching and silanation in a single step, according to a press release. The material is designed to be used with Adhese Universal, Variolink Esthetic and IPS e.max restorations.
