Description
The Avair SL bracket is the only one-piece self-ligating bracket. The wire retention clip is in the bracket body and the whole bracket is functioning to support the clip. Just click in – no mechanical parts to move.
Avair SL brackets are made from a hybrid biocompatible material that is a dispersion of Acrylic and two different copolymers, with a small amount of
polycrystalline alumina for increased strength. Avair SL brackets are clear and stain-resistant. The material of the Avair SL bracket won’t deform during treatment like standard composite brackets, and
won’t wear like common polyurethane and bicarbonate materials. Avair SL delivers orthodontic forces without the brittle and abrasive characteristics of
sapphire or ceramic, but its shore hardness prevents teeth from being damaged as with ceramic brackets. This bracket will not shatter or break during
debonding.
