Ivoclar Vivadent plans to launch two new intraoral scanners in selected markets this year: PrograScan One and PrograScan One+.
Both scanners are powered by 3Shape and are designed to supplement the fully integrated chairside system and to deliver accurate, esthetic restorations, according to a press release. When integrated with the PrograMill One chairside mill, the scanners create a seamless workflow that enhances the way dentists practice.
The intraoral scanners feature the latest artificial intelligence (AI) technology, making scanning easier by automatically removing soft tissue artifacts from the digital impression. Dentists can record the patient’s dynamic occlusion, helping to ensure the restoration has the best fit possible. Both scanners offer detailed color scan and shade measurement along with a faster scanning speed.
The PrograScan One+ offers optimized handling with its advanced wireless scanning technology, enhancing comfort for dentists and patients.
The company’s flexible PrograDesign software connects the PrograScan One and PrograMill One into guided workflows for single-visit dental treatments, enabling dentists to plan and create restorations in one day. Patient excitement apps help involve patients early in the planning stage of treatment.
