3Shape recently received two Red Dot Design Awards: One for the new 3Shape TRIOS 4 Intraoral Scanner and one for TRIOS MOVE+.
The Red Dot award is an “international distinction for high design quality,” according to a press release. The Red Dot global jury selected the 3Shape solutions from more than 5,500 entries. These awards mark the fifth and sixth 3Shape solutions to be honored by Red Dot in the past three years.
The 3Shape TRIOS 4 makes it possible to detect surface and interproximal caries in one scanner. The wireless scanner offers these capabilities without an increase in size or weight, or compromising ergonomics.
The 3Shape TRIOS MOVE+ is one of three hardware setup options for the TRIOS intraoral scanner. It features a larger 15.6” touchscreen attached to an arm and easy-to-move stand with a mounted PC. Dentists can easily move and position TRIOS MOVE+ as well as use its touchscreen as a canvas to design and discuss treatments with patients.
