The Planmeca Emerald and Planmeca PlanScan intraoral scanners are now accepted for use with the Orchestrate 3D system.
The system provides treatment planning software and 3D printing solutions that allow orthodontists to design and create clear aligners and other orthodontic appliances, according to a press release.
After scanning, clinicians can plan the treatment themselves then print in-house or send the STL files to Orchestrate for both planning and 3D printing. This allows for a fully customizable workflow.
