Dental Wings recently released version 1.8 of its intraoral scanner software.
The enhanced software is compatible with DWOS 6.0 and higher (CAD Software), CARES Visual 10.0 and higher (CAD Software) and DWOS Connect 2.6 and higher (cloud-sharing platform), according to a press release.
Improvements include complete integration with DWOS Chairside design software, a faster scanning speed that is almost doubled for a more fluid scanning experience and quicker re-connections, and milled thickness in the review screen, making it possible to view occlusal distance as well as reduction distance.
