3Shape Orthodontic Indirect Bonding Solution Now Integrates with RMO Bracket Systems

The 3Shape Indirect Bonding application now integrates with RMO Bracket Systems. The application is within 3Shape Orthodontics.

The integration makes it possible for orthodontists and labs using the 3Shape indirect bonding solution to virtually plan treatment with RMO Bracket Systems libraries, according to a press release. They can then place the physical RMO brackets using digitally-designed 3D printed transfer trays. The virtual RMO Bracket Systems libraries can be accessed directly from within 3Shape orthodontic software.

Treatment planning and bracket placement of the virtual libraries are made using a digital study model of the patient. The models are created with a TRIOS intraoral scan or conventional impression scanned with a 3Shape dental lab scanner.

There are now more than 200 original bracket libraries and orthodontic solution providers integrated with 3Shape orthodontic software.
